Well from a small child I always love dogs, my first dog I cared for was a golden retriever my father adopted him a pound. At first I was hesitant being the fact he wasn’t a puppy but a 8 year old formally abused, I could tell from scars. Once at home my father and I showed the not yet named dog his area, I wanted to pet him immediately but was afraid he’ll snarl or even worse bite me but my father reassured me that wouldn’t be the case. After watching my dad hand feed the dog treats for about 2 minutes I realized maybe I can pet this battle tested animal. After a few days with no name I named him snatch after he ate my breakfast burrito clean off the table
