Bike training for high energy dogs
Pet care experience
I lead energetic and willful dogs to channel their energy in ways that satisfy them *and* their humans, like running next to a bike. Good dogs are often considered bad because they just have more energy than they or we know what to do with, but every dog wants to be a good dog and they can be trained. I have two Australian Shepherds, a very active and sometimes needy breed, that I've trained to do things like run beside my bike or stay out of the kitchen when we cook. When they were 1-2 years old my bicycle was the only way I could get them tired without wearing myself out too, and it's something we still enjoy. Dogs have always been a part of my home, I and my sisters each had one growing up and we took care of the washing, feeding, running, training, etc on our own as soon as we were old enough.
Reviews
He's not just a basic dog walker, he has a natural gift. Nathan isn't content with offering just the bare minimum of care to his dogs. He helps to see what your individual dog needs. Are they too hyper? Do they need help with new experiences? We had talked about my Aussie's high energy level and drive, so he has taught my dogs to run alongside a bike. He has also reinforced their leash manners, sit, and "wait". My dogs love being with him and get so excited when they see him come to the door, they can't wait to go.

Availability
I work full time but am available Thursday Friday and Saturday. Any time between 9am and sunset works for me. Ongoing set schedules are great but I'm flexible too. I can take care of dogs any age as long as they've been weaned.
