Pet care experience
I have had experience with animals ever since I was a kid. I have grown up around animals and have enjoyed caring for and loving them! For the past few years, I have pet-sitted for family friends in need of a meticulous individual who will go above and beyond the normal standards of a caretaker for their animals. I have experience with elderly pets who have needed medicine, to puppies who need extra attention! Nathan took great care of our dogs and house at the last minute over a holiday weekend when our usual (non-rover) sitter had to cancel. Our pups were well taken care of and it even seems like Nathan was able to get our dog who isn’t great with new people to warm up to him, which is not an easy task. It’s always hard to leave your dogs with someone new, but Nathan was very attentive at a quick meet and greet to all of the instructions and was great with letting the dogs warm up to him. Planning on using Nathan again in the future.
Nathan watched my previous lab that passed last year and my present whip-it mix now. The whip-it mix is very cautious around people but loves other dogs. I have watched Nathan exercise patience most young adults would not to build a bond with him. This is on top of being reliable and trustworthy. I would recommend Nathan to too walk, watch or even house stay. These are traits not easily found today in young adults.

I prefer to know a typical daily schedule of their eating, potty breaks and any other routine that you do with them. I'd like to know if they are friendly with other dogs and people in case I run into them, while taking them on walks. And I would also like to know if you prefer to take them somewhere specific for them to use the restroom or if there's a park they like to go to.
A typical day
A typical day with a pet I am sitting for includes taking them out to use the restroom as many times as you typically do. I also prefer to go on at least one walk per day depending on their physical capabilities. If they are an older dog that needs less walking and more sleeping I can accommodate that as well. They'll have plenty of time to relax as I will stay in the house most of the day with them. I love to pet and cuddle with animals so they'll get all the love they can handle!
