Hello, I'm Nathan, owner of Detroit Loves You Guest Home, Detroit's first and most reviewed Airbnb. Together with my wife, Melayna, and sister, we offer 3 Airbnb homes in Metro Detroit, and pet services based from my Ferndale home. Melayna and I are life-long pet people, with a combined 28 years experience with dogs, and over 80 with cats. We work mostly from home, so one or both of us will be availble for your pet. Our neighborhood is great for walks of any length, and our front and back yards are nice for walking around on leash. We may also be available for sitting overnight at your home, especially if not far from Ferndale. I also enjoy walking dogs, and am happy to drop by your home for a walk, play visit, or cat check-in. I was going out for a night and Nathan and his wife were so great with my dogs! Definitely recommend them as a sitter! They are also very flexible, I was running SUPER late to drop them off and they were still accommodating. ❤️
Nathan was amazing with my two geriatric cats. Mista Wiskas has been receiving treatment for eight month for cancer that requires him to be pulled daily. If anyone has ever pilled a cat then they must know you have to be a cat whisperer to be able to pill a cat you never met before within 15 minutes of Nathan arriving. I would call Nathan to take care of my babies anytime! Thanks so much!

Please let me know what will help your pup have a fun time during their visit. We may not be able to host dogs with extreme shedding. This was an issue with a husky we hosted once.
A typical day
My Ferndale neighborhood is excellent for dog walking, and I can jog with larger dogs who like to run. The nearby park on Edgewood St has a very long area for dogs to run as well.
