I do work full time, however, a significant perk of working at a dog store is that your dog can come to work with me! The store can be a very stimulating place, so this works best for non-reactive dogs who are comfortable meeting some new people and settling right in. If your dog comes to work with me, they’re entitled to as many bathroom breaks as needed, a huge doggie bed, a basket full of toys, and a taste test of the full range the store has to offer. My co-workers are all friendly dog lovers as well, so any dog who works with us can expect to be spoiled and loved on the whole day through. Dogs who are a bit more sensitive to stimuli but can handle being by themselves at home for the workday also fit well into my schedule.
