Pet care experience
I have taken care of my own pets and others almost my entire life including feeding and watering, giving medicine and shots, helping with birthing, and bathing. I seem to just be able to get along with almost all animals which definitely helps for my desired field. I can go out and play with animals, stay in and relax with them, or do a little of both.

Nate was an incredible dog sitter. Our dog just had surgery, and Nate handled all his medications and more involved care routine. He was very flexible (stayed an extra night when our flight was canceled) and unbelievably helpful. Highly recommend, and will definitely book him again!!
Nate is always dependable and great with our pups. He is our go-to dog sitter for walks and house sitting. We highly recommend him!

I do not currently have pets at my home in Columbia, only in Sedalia. Back in Sedalia, we live more in the country so my dogs have full range of wherever they want to go. They go in and out as they please but we always make sure they have food and water when they are home. They get lots of lovin's when they are home as well. Here in Columbia I will only be able to sit at the owners house and I can follow however they would want me to take care of their animal(s). I love to pet, play with, and cuddle with animals so any kind of care or environment works for me.

Before a stay or visit, I would just like to know if there are any specific tasks the owner would like to be done during my time with their pet. Wether that be physical activity, medications, or other things. I would also like to know things that they do not favor or may affect them poorly. Anything to make our time together better.
A typical day
I know you can’t really ask a dog what it wants to do, but I like to read it the best I can to see what it may want to do. I will play with it wether it be fetch, tug-o-war, or anything else. If I can tell it’s tired I’ll lay down with them and relax. I really just like to let the dog show me how it wants to spend the day. And of course we’ll do anything the owner asks us to.

I am a student and I am currently taking summer classes, but they are mostly online so I will likely be able to schedule around them. I do also like to workout and do some activities with friends, but I can schedule around that some as well. This fall I will be full time student at MU so I will not be able to do most things, but I may have gaps then that I could fill.
