Pet care experience
I am the small business owner of Mickey & Friends Dog Walks and Playdates LLC which is licensed and insured and named after my Pembroke Welsh Corgi, Mickey. I've been fortunate to provide pet care services to over 300 dogs from puppies to seniors, 39 cats and even a parrot, tortoise and rabbit! I require meet and greets for all first time clients but after that can usually accommodate last minute requests. This is my full-time job and passion since December 2015. You love your pets like family, I love them like best friends.

When you book me I will: • Treat each owner with respect and each pet with loving care. • Keep track of your keys and remain professional and respectful in your home. • Clean up pet messes that happen prior to or during the scheduled appointment. • Provide the pet(s) clean water, food, treats and medication as specified by you. • Provide the pet(s) access to potty. Monitor and report signs of illness or abnormalities to you. • Reinforce training, socialization, play, and exercise needs for the pet(s) as per your request. • Use common sense with inclement weather and other dangerous/risky situations and always make the pet’s safety my priority. • Spend the requested amount of time with each pet. • Never cancel my appointment times without first finding an alternate provider.

Even though I am allergic to cats, I have lots of experience feeding, freshening water, scooping litter boxes, administering medicine on a timed schedule and finding scared cats that may be hiding. In addition I will also clean up any messes/accidents that happen while you are away and make sure your home is well-kept by watering plants, rotating blinds/curtains, brining in mail/packages, turning lights on/off to your preference as well as temperature control. I will provide you the peace of mind with daily photos of your cats after every 15 minute visit. My husband grew up with a cat and is a big fan of all felines. When he is available over the weekends or in the evenings he likes to accompany me and provide the extra cuddly pets and playful games that some cats love, with pet owner permission of course!

I service clients located in Fair Oaks, Virginia. I may have additional availability for communities in Fair Lakes or downtown Fairfax during evenings or weekends on an as-needed basis.

Availability
Dog walks take place between 10 am-4pm weekdays only. Drop-In Visits take place outside of my normal business hours and over the weekend. I pride myself on being responsive, flexible and accommodating. I ride an e-scooter (eco friendly) to get to all of my appointments so it is important I make sure you are in my service area before we book.
