I have had dogs my entire life, and taken care of them since I was 10. I have helped to train dogs to walk nicely on the leash, learn to swim, kayak, rollerblade, and even do small obstacle courses! I have had the pleasure of being best friends with 5 dogs in my lifetime, and each had their own special, funny, smart, adorable personalities. My current pup is Pepper, she is a Parti Poodle with LOTS of energy! We go on all sorts of adventures and play lots of fun games together. I also have experience taking care of older and sick pups, administering medicines, eye drops, and ear drops, and I am pretty good and brushing the tangles out without to much complaint! Something my friends and family (and strangers at the dog park!) will tell you is that dogs usually love me. Its not uncommon for a pup I have just met to curl up into my lap or give me snuggles and waggles right away! I can't count the number of times I have heard 'they never do that!' or 'They are usually so shy with strangers!'. Maybe its because I give pretty good ear scratches, or maybe the pups know how much I love them! Big dogs? Amazing! Tiny dogs? Love them! In between? Perfect! I love any size, shape, or personality. What about cats you say? Bring it on, although I didn't grow up with cats, I love them too and we get along nicely! I will admit I've never walked a cat on a leash or taught one to swim (first time for everything!) but I am always happy to play and give snuggles. Whatever your best friends needs, I can't wait to help, and make your best friends mine too!
