To me dogs are one of the few creatures on earth who express unconditional love no matter what. They are the most loyal and kind companion anyone could ask for. I love to play with them and talk to them as if they were one of my children. We adopted our sweet dog Max after we had a difficult time conceiving a child of our own, he was exactly what I needed, someone to love and take care of during that difficult time. He became my first child. A year later our daughter was born, much to our surprise. Watching them grow up together and the bond they share just melts my heart. Now that Max is 6, he's more laid back and follows me everywhere, he is my shadow and I wouldn't have it any other way.
