Loving and caring vet nurse
Pet care experience
I have many years of both personal and professional experience taking care of animals. I started pet sitting when I was in middle school caring for the animals in my apartment building. In high school I began working at a pet care center. I was responsible for the animals boarding at the center including dogs, cats, birds, and pocket pets. I was in charge of making sure they received the right food, that they were voiding and defecating without any problems, that they were given any medications at the correct times, and that they we’re happy and healthy during their stay with us. I worked at this pet care center for about 3 years before moving to South Carolina. In South Carolina I began working as an On The Job trained veterinary assistant as well as kennel attendant. I gained new skills in caring and treating animals staying in the hospital, patients recovering from surgery, and giving medications, along with other veterinary assistant responsibilities. While working I started pet sitting for some of the clients from the animal hospital. I generally had mostly cat and dog pet sitting clients, but did occasionally have horses. I would visit with my clients before and after work at their houses and every now and then spend the night if it was needed. I would make sure they got the food they needed, take dogs for walks, spend time with each furbaby, give any medications that were needed, and make them feel loved and safe while their human companions were away. I lived in South Carolina for about 7 years before I moved to Florida. In Florida I continued my veterinary assistant career and went to school to become a licensed veterinary nurse. I also continued pet sitting for clients as well as the doctors I worked with. I worked in Florida for about 6 years before adventuring to Ohio. I currently work as a veterinary nurse at a local animal hospital and would love to continue pet sitting. I feel comfortable watching any breed of dog at any age, I can give medications to both dogs and cats, and I can administer subcutaneous fluids or injections to animals that need it. My own furbabies are pretty diverse. I have an 11 year old dachshund, a 6 year old husky, a 5 month old golden retriever, and an 11 year old cat that is being treated for hyperthyroidism. I would love to meet you and your furbaby or furbabies! I currently work part time as a veterinary nurse so I can definitely check on your furbaby (furbabies) at your house whenever you need me to. It would generally be in the morning and evening, but depending on the location I might be able to check in on them in the afternoon as well. I would come to your home and follow whatever instructions you give me. I will walk dogs for as long as you need me to, I will play with them, I will spend time with your furbaby (furbabies) so they feel loved, and I can send you pictures and videos so you can feel relaxed about your baby (babies) being in good hands.

Any information you can provide me about your furbaby is appreciative. For me any medical information is most important, but understanding their personality is also helpful.
A typical day
I love playing with dogs and love seeing them happy. I’ll enjoy whatever they like to do. I’ve watched some dogs that are more couch potatoes and enjoy just sitting the couch being pet and loved on, while some love running outside chasing a ball. I’m happy doing whatever makes them happy!
