I just recently moved from San Diego to New York where I am attending Nursing school! Since I won’t be working full time while in school, I can’t think of a better way to still earn an income than to spend my free time surrounded by animals. I have been surrounded by animals my entire life; dogs, cats, horses, bunnies, Guinea pigs, birds, hamsters, the list goes on! It’s important for me to respect each owner’s household rules while also having fun with the dogs and giving them some good exercise and lots of attention and love.

Natalie S. is a final year university student studying science. She has had an interest and love for animals from a very young age having grown up and cared for every household pet you can imagine, from multiple breeds of dogs and cats, a rabbit, hampster and birds. She is mature and exercises good judgement when managing animals in her care. She recently returned from an educational loop in Thailand working with elephants in a Game Farm. I would not be surprised if Natalie is headed for Veterinary Medicine!

I treat everyone dogs like they are my own, with lots of attention & love. I try to maximize the physical activities by taking the dogs on long walks and allowing them to be outside as much as possible. I also am very communicative with the pet owners, sending photos and updates consistently.

I would just want a heads up if the dog doesn’t do well with other dogs or children just so I know to be cautious on walks. Also if the dog is actually potty trained, and if they have any serious allergies.
A typical day
I live very close to Central Park so I go there frequently to get my steps in and would love doing so with your pup! If there are any routes you prefer me to take your dog on please let me know and I will gladly follow your preferences.

Availability
My school schedule consists of classes Tuesday-Thursday from 9am-4pm, then one lab on Mondays from 9am-12pm. I am available for early morning or later afternoon walks/drop ins any day of the week, as well as house sitting/boarding Friday-Sunday.
