Pet care experience
Hello! From Natalie, Jace, and little Nami Our pack is all about companionship. At our place your pup will get plenty of quality time, exercise and attention. I teach middle school and Jace works from home as a software engineer. As you can imagine we are patient, caring, and ever vigilant. We love nature walks and know where all the best parks and trails are. Like many pups, we like to play, take naps and sneak treats. If it sounds like a good fit so far, keep reading :)

They were absolutely wonderful sitters. Lots of updates and photos. My pup looked really happy and was all clean! They played at home, went to the park and played fetch. I will definitely be contacting this lovely couple next time I need someone to watch my baby :)
I won't leave Barley with just anybody - and following my meet + greet w/ Natalie, I knew he'd be in very good hands! I loved that Natalie has her own pup, too - who became good buddies with my pup during his stay. I was delighted to receive pics and updates regularly from Natalie while I was away. Would definitely rebook knowing that Barley was loved during my getaway, too!
I came home to very disappointing news from my 2nd sitter that my apartment smelled horrible as soon as they opened the door because my cat’s litter box had not been cleaned for quite some time. They said it looked like extra litter had just been dumped over the mess that had been made rather than it being scooped. It’s very upsetting and heartbreaking as I met Natalie before she sat for me and she seemed very trustworthy. I will not be trusting another sitter on Rover again after this very unfortunate situation.

Environment We live in a spacious 2 bedroom apartment. There is a small private balcony off the unit and a shared rooftop for a little extra fresh air. All of our furniture is pet friendly! Other considerations We rescued our chihuahua mix, Nami, in February 2021. She loves to play with dogs (and cats) of similar sizes but is still a little wary of other humans. She can take a little time to warm up to dogs who are on the bigger side, more vocal, and/or have a rough play style. We have a car and with your permission we’d love to take your pup to the dog park. The building has a dog washing station so your pup will return home clean after any messy adventures. We’d like to know a little bit about your pet’s personality; their likes and dislikes. Staying away from home can be scary and we want to make sure your pup is comfortable! I want to know about any health or behavior concerns, dietary needs and preferred routines. I’d also like to know which words are used for commands so there is a common language.
A typical day
I love to walk, or run, at Green Lake. We are a short 10 minute walk to the lake so we frequent it often. At home your pup can look forward to cuddles on the couch and lots of scratchies, plus we hardly ever get tired of fetch. I like photography so you will receive daily updates with pictures!

Availability Nami likes to have sleepovers with her friends on the weekends. We don’t mind if they stay an extra couple of nights since Jace will be home to supervise.
