Pet care experience
I have cared for many friends/neighbors pets over the years and cared for my own rescue dog for 10 years. I also grew up with cats and kittens so I am very familiar with cats. My senior dog, Beau, passed away in January from cancer. Beau was blind and in heart failure so I have experience with dogs that require a little more care. He had a variety of needs including daily medications (both liquid and pill) and eye drops. I feel confident caring for senior dogs or dogs with medical needs after my experiences caring for him.

Natalie was wonderful! I’m always a little anxious leaving Kahlua somewhere new, but she was so clearly comfortable and happy with Natalie! I can seriously not say enough good things. Plus- Kahlua made new pup friends!?
Natalie is a smart, caring, resourceful, and responsible person who has always loved animals. She was the best dog Mom ever to her little Beau who recently passed away, and went above and beyond for him. Natalie is a hard worker and has such a big heart, and you will always be able to count on her if she cares for your pet.
Natalie is a wonderful and caring person! She frequently watches my 3 year old dog when I am away. He absolutely loves her, and I feel confident that he’s well taken care of in her presence. She has a lot of love to give, and your pet would be in great hands with her watching them.

I have a house in Madison with a large fenced in yard. We also have an outside screen porch which we spend a lot of time enjoying in the summer. After my dog passed away in January I adopted a puppy from the shelter. He is a 6 months old Shih Tzu mix that LOVES making new friends. I have a roommate that lives with me who also has a medium sized dog who loves to play with others. She works from home too so the dogs get lots of attention here! Lol Our pups have always slept with us and lounge on the furniture so your pets will be welcome to get cozy. (Although my puppy thinks he’s too cool to sleep with mom and prefers the floor)

I would like to know all the things your dog loves and doesn’t love. Any anxieties the dog may have so we can make sure to reduce any stress. Their typical eating/treat/potty schedule. How/where they prefer to sleep and any meds or special cares they may need.
A typical day
I love playing fetch and running with the dogs in the backyard. We have a ridiculous amount of dog toys from our very spoiled dogs. I live in a nice quiet neighborhood so we do lots of walks around the neighborhood!

Availability
I have a job that is mostly working from home. I do therapy for children in their home and usually see 2-3 kids a day for an hour. Aside from those couple of hours in the field I am working from home on paperwork. I make my own work schedule so I have a lot of flexibility with my day depending on the needs of the pet!
