Vet Tech Student and Pet Lover!

Pet care experience

I've had dogs in my family throughout my entire life! Additionally, I raised a puppy from 8 weeks old. This puppy developed epilepsy at 3 years old, so I have experience with canine epilepsy and administering pills via treats (i.e. pill pockets, PB, ham, etc.). I've handled dogs from under 20 pounds to over 80 pounds so I have no issues with larger or smaller dogs. I'm currently studying to become a vet tech so I will be learning how to take care of the medical needs of animals!

Natalie Rizzoni is probably one of the best dog sitters I've ever had. She super knowledgeable when it comes to the needs and behaviours of my dogs and is also super nice to them as well. They treat her like she's one of our family members I'm actually almost jealous cause I feel like she's loved by them more than they love me. She's also usually really quick to reply when I need her to. I can't recommend her enough and I do hope that y'all's experience is as great as mine is!

Safety, trust & environment

I care greatly for dogs and cats (and all animals!), I will update you every step of the way on taking care of them. I understand it requires a lot of trust to allow a stranger to take care of one of, if not, the most important member(s) of your family, so I'm willing to assist you in anyway to help alleviate that fear. Shoot me a message or call at anytime that I'm with your pet and I will answer! I'll be sure to safely use the leashes/collars/harnesses you provide, and never let your dog off the reins to make sure they remain safe and secure at all times. For in home visits, I'll only be in as long or as little as you need. As a heads up, for walks my boyfriend, who you are welcome to meet and speak to at any time, will likely accompany me. This is for my safety as well as your dog's safety in the event of any kind of emergency, plus he's a dog lover too! If you would like to request that he not be present due to your preference or if your pet has aggression or fear towards men, do not hesitate to ask! He can stay in the car if need be. Lastly, if you have any small animals (rats, hamsters, snakes, birds, etc.) that need fed or watered while I am visiting, let me know! I have experience with small animals and would be happy to assist.

Information Natalie R. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know if your dog is reactive or not leash trained. If your dog is not leash trained we can discuss options for getting them a good healthy walk in. If they are reactive I will keep treats (approved by you) for distraction and keep them off of busier walkways. Regardless of whether or not your dog is reactive I will not let them say hello to other dogs on the walk for safety reasons.

A typical day

Please note I can only do 30 minute walk slots at this time. I also cannot walk more than 2 dogs at a time for safety reasons.
