Pet care experience
I’ve been taking care of animals for over 6 years, with about 3 years volunteering at an animal rescue caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and ages, cats, and neonatal kittens. I have also previously volunteered at a dog daycare making sure that the dogs are happy, preventing fights, sorting them into groups based on size and temperament, as well as giving them some human company if they’re shy around other dogs!

Natalie is very knowledgeable about working with animals. While volunteering with the rescue, she was routinely assigned the larger and more reactive dogs, and on one occasion, was even able to safely handle and play with a feral dog who had found her way into the rescue.
While taking care of my cat, Gazpacho, it was obvious that Natalie genuinely loves animals. She took the time to research cat behavior and always made sure Pachy was actually happy, not just fed and watered, by playing with him and giving him pets.
When Natalie was volunteering for dog daycare, she always managed to keep the daycare peaceful and playful. She would often bond with dogs and spend time giving them one-on-one attention. She always put tons of effort into making their stays as safe and happy as possible.
Natalie took care of my dog while I was out of town. She does this periodically, and every time my dog sees her he gets so excited. I know that Natalie is really good with my dog because of the way he responds to her.

A typical day
I like to take dogs on walks to the park so that they can explore all the unique smells and interact with the other dogs! For more reactive dogs, taking them on a nice stroll away from other dogs is great too!

Availability
I'm available to look after your pets most weekdays and weekends; please check the calendar for my updated availability before booking. While I am looking after your pet, I will be monitoring, playing with, and caring for them full-time to prevent separation anxiety and injury, and to ensure that I'm there to respond immediately in the unlikely event anything should happen.
