By way of background, it wasn't until 35 that I developed a real appreciation of dogs.  It would be some years later, at 43, that that I developed the absurd love I have for them today.  In particular, for my current dog, Winston Wigglesworth. Yes, he’s remarkably unintelligent and it’s true I once had to physically restrain him to prevent him from eating a dead spider, he’s never once told me he hates me, and has never failed to lose his sh** when I’ve been gone any longer than 20 minutes. So, when I had to suddenly leave town the other night (leaving me only a few hours to coordinate for Winston’s care in my absence), I was fortunate enough to find Natalie.   Natalie instantly and graciously cleared her schedule, and (despite my not even being home to let her in and show her around, much less introduce her to Winston), she handled it like a pro, with grace, and without complaint.  Natalie was there at my home the next morning, on time, where she quickly earned Winstons trust, whilst at the same time giving me the confidence I needed to make productive use of my time out of the country (as opposed to working myself into a blob of gelatinous worry). I came back home, without incident.  Since then, however, I've noticed Winston's spending more time waiting at the door with bated (and pretty bad) breath, for Natalie to return. Suffice it to say I'm so grateful for Natalie, and by extension, this service.  She's a credit to Rover, and someone you and your beloved pet would be lucky to have.
