Pet care experience
I have had a big love for all animals throughout my life, and I do quite well with providing animals with what they need. Not only am I on top of caring for their basic needs, I also know that what they really want is to have fun! I have 2 young daughters who are also in love with animals and when we care for pets all 3 of us (and sometimes dad too) love to play and have fun. We share our love, affection, and attention, play games, and go out for outdoor adventures. One of my favorite jobs was working as a dog walker for DogOn Fitness in Bethesda MD for 2 years from 2013 - 2015, taking on as many as 8 clients a day, 5 days a week, for walk and care visits. In the past, I used to keep a variety of reptiles, amphibians, and fish, and I've had cats for about 20 years. I thoroughly enjoy caring for animals of all kinds, and am excited to help you with yours :)

I have a deck, small fenced in yard, and no carpets in my clean and tidy home. Everyone in our house is very loving towards all animals, and we get along well with them. When an animal is in my care I make sure their needs are always met. When animals feel safe and taken care of they tend to be on their best behavior! I continually provide them with love and attention, and when it comes to dogs, I also make sure they are not bored and have something to do. I balance that with being "in charge" and wield gentle discipline to maintain a dog's positive behavior. This helps to ensure a happy and safe experience for all. My girls, papa, and I live on an inactive golf course with many acres of hiking trails, and we are a short walk from Opequon Creek. We go on daily walks and would love to go out with pets!

Please let me know if your pet has any special needs that I should be aware of so that we may clarify the expectations we have of each other. I have a 2 and a 4-year-old, so I am not able to care for pets who have a history of showing aggression towards small children. Thank you!
A typical day
Doggie adventure time! We shall embark on an exploration of the great outdoors. Opequon creek is a short walk downhill from our house, and we live on an inactive golf course with plenty of hiking trails so there is no shortage of fun things to see and smell. My kids are also very excited to have doggie play time. Kids. Dogs. Outside fun time. :)

Availability
I have 2 daughters, one is 2 and the other is 4. I work from home and care for my girls full-time. I sometimes have work outside of the house and will mark my availability accordingly. Unless we leave the house for something, I am available all the time to care for your pet.
