I have grown up around animals my entire life ranging from horses to rabbits. Dogs have always held a special place in my heart. I have owned a dog since graduating from Old Dominion University. (See Twiford, my labradoodle, in my photos.) Following college, I purchased a house here on the Outer Banks, affectionately named 'Twiford's Place'. We later adopted Buxton our shepherd/lab mix. I have dog sat for my colleagues, friends and family here on the beach, which I thoroughly enjoyed. We are hoping to host one dog/overnight as we get started on Rover. We walk our dogs on the beach at least once a day. We have a screened in porch, fenced in yard and mudroom dedicated to our dogs. Don't feel bad leaving your dogs during your vacation! Trust us - your dogs are probably having just as much fun, if not more, experiencing the best of the OBX for dogs. :) Look forward to meeting your pawesome friend!
