Worked part time as a veterinary assistance at Town and Country Animal Clinic for 4 years. My routine duties included giving medication, cleaning cages, providing nursing care before and after surgery, restraint and grooming. I'm comfortable trimming nail, bathing dogs, and brushing cats and dogs. Additionally I attended Columbus State Community College Veterinary Technician degree program and learned about animal nutrition, parasitology and medication. In 2010 I adopted my first dog, a miniature dachshund named Barkmann. I started pet sitting/boarding at that time to socialize him with other dogs and cats. I'm comfortable and knowledgeable of most breeds of dogs. I love all animals which is another reason I started pet sitting/boarding. I also enjoy fitness and don't mind taking the larger dogs on longer walks. I'm available most weekdays, weekends and holidays.
