UCA Alum 2016, Animal Enthusiast

Pet care experience

Hi! I'm a high school teacher in Little Rock and have always loved animals. Since I was little, I've always been around animals and had dogs of my own; my primary chores growing up involved caring for my family's dogs. Now, as an adult, I volunteer at the local animal shelter and have helped find homes for several dogs. I often watch and take care of my parent's, sister's, and friend's dogs. I've also helped train dogs with basic housebreaking, manners, and simple tricks. I have two rescue dogs if my own (Rosie and Samantha), an adopted cat (Ripley), and a rescue off-track thoroughbred (Daisy). To be very honest, if you don't want your pet spoiled, I might not be the best sitter for you. I've just never met a dog- or any other animal- I haven't loved!

Natalie is very sweet and took great care of my babies! If ever I’m in the market for a sitter or drop-in services she will be my first choice 🫶🏻

Natalie is great. My cats were well taken care of during my 2 week vacation. I travel regularly and I would like her to continue sitting for them.

Natalie is awesome!!! We had made arrangements for a friend to house-sit while we were gone for a two-week vacation, but, two days before we left, Thrall was put back on some meds that our friend wasn't comfortable administering. I had almost decided to cancel half of my trip, when I was surprised by finding so many folks in our area on Rover. While reading through the bios, I immediately loved Natalie. She was actually able to come by the apartment that evening to interview with me and Thrall - and, of course, she was perfect. She came back the next evening to hang out and play with Thrall some so he would be more comfortable with her right off the bat. Thrall gets separation anxiety and doesn't normally eat when we're not around. She made him feel so loved that he barely skipped a beat. Natalie sent me text, photo, and video updates so I could rest assured that my little man was doing well while we were gone. She gave him all his meds and let me know when they were running low. Natalie took great care of our home, but - most importantly - she took amazing care of Thrall. I love bringing Thrall with us when we travel, but sometimes it's just not feasible. Natalie has opened up a whole new world of possibilities for us. She will always have a job with us as long as we're in the same geographic area.
