Pet care experience
Grew up on a farm in Idaho with cows, horses, chickens, pigs, turkeys, sheep, cats, dogs, rabbits. Over the years have lived with & cared for miniature schnauzers, giant schnauzers, Boston terriers, chihuahuas, Brussels griffons, pitbulls, lab mixes. Currently have a Rhodesian ridgeback lab mix & recently adopted a Siberian husky malamute mix. We have two active cats as well but everyone lives in harmony as it is a very pet friendly stress free house. Our backyard is Very pup friendly - fully fenced with enough room to run & play & a doggie pool when weather permits! I would be the primary caregiver & am able to give pills but my husband is home in the morning & evening - he worked for a vet hospital for a number of years so would be available to administer medication such as insulin as needed. I donate a percentage of all of my Rover proceeds to the Washington Alaskan Malamute Adoption League.
Reviews
Always an amazing time with Natalie's pack
Ozzy always has fun at Natalie's!
Natalie takes such good care of our dog Maslow and he absolutely adores her and her dogs! I never worry when he goes to her house for a sleepover.
Natalie has been watching my pup for several months now, several days a week, and is consistently amazing. If a golden retriever can return home actually tuckered out that's pretty indicative of plenty of exercise and attention during the day :) She knows "Natalie" and "day care" now and gets pretty excited those mornings!

Information Natalie L. would like to know about your pet
No breed preferences - we love All dogs. Would like to know if any there are any levels of aggression during interactions with other dogs & cats. If your dog has never been around cats - it's a great introduction for them as the 2 cats are Very used to being around all sorts of pups & super friendly. Also, feeding preferences, allergies/sensitivities, & typical sleeping arrangements. Our guys all eat 2 times/day in the morning then in the early evening (no free feeding) but I am more than willing to accommodate whatever is needed for yours. Please let me know if your dog: - has been known to resource guard (food aggression, toy/bone guarding) - is a male that has been known to attempt to mount other males - nips when running/playing with other dogs - has separation anxiety that is beyond a few minutes of barking/nervousness after you leave - has had recent surgery & if there is special care needed ALL of these things can be worked through, it just Really helps me if I have all of the info beforehand :) Unfortunately I can't take any dogs that are not started on house training or incontinent. Plenty of bathroom breaks when they are here - in & out every 0-2 hours. Puppies that need some extra help & reminding are ok but Please no adult dogs that have potty issues.
A typical day
- Ball, stick, bone, rope, toy play in the fully fenced big backyard - Generous amounts of attention & places to curl up in home (I am home with the pups all day!!) - Companionship from Rune (our gentle old guy - 10 years old but still plays like he's a pup!) - ENDLESS amounts of play energy from Mika :) - Walks through the neighborhood & nearby park (Meridian) - I Do Not take my rover pups to public dog parks for safety reasons. First & foremost -> I can be in control & know all of the dogs at our place so there is MUCH less risk for mishaps & there really isn't even a need to go because we have our own safe doggie play space right here!! :) - I also subscribe to the Rover Protection Package which you can find details about here: https://www.rover.com/protection-package/
