Pet care experience
I've always had animals in my life growing up and cared for various different types of animals from your typical dog or cat to birds, chinchillas and horses. Growing up I was always volunteering for a local dog rescue as a foster parent, petsitting, and taking classes geared towards animal behavior and care in high school. When I was 16 I started volunteering as a groomer at my local animal shelter and have been doing so for the last 4 years. This has given me lots of experience with all different types of dog breeds, sizes, ages and temperaments. I have continued my path down animal care by studying to major in animal science pre-vet at the University of Minnesota. I also have experience working at an animal hospital and can care for pets that have illnesses, need to take meds or receive injections during visits or sittings.

Natalie was wonderful with our 2 dogs. She provided lots of feedback on how they were doing including photos. I felt very comfortable with her watching our dogs and I will definitely have her watch them again in the future.
Natalie was outstanding! She was consistent, thorough,and observant of the habits of our cats. She successfully got medication administered, sent lots of pictures, and provided detailed descriptions of each visit. We feel very lucky to have connected with her.

Is your dog friendly with other dogs/people/cats /kids, to make sure what to strictly avoid during walks. Does she/he have any triggers that could arise during their stay or on walks? Is your dog potty trained? Feeding and bathroom schedule if applicable? How do they prefer to sleep, in the bed, on the floor, in a crate, ect? Energy level? Favorite type of treat?
A typical day
We will go on fun trail walks on the George Washington parkway trail during your pups stay and there is a dog park near by where your pup can go and really let some energy out, only if is okay with the owner. I will usually try and take any pup staying with me wherever I go as long as it is pet friendly and I can assure there safety at all times.
