Dog Lover - Near Zions!

Pet care experience

I grew up having all types of pets - from lizards, birds, cats and dogs. That is where my passion & love for animals began. I currently have two wonderful dogs and two frogs. I truly believe animals are not just pets, but members of the family. I am passionate about providing dogs a safe, loving environment while their owners are away. I know from experience what it's like having a dog to care for while also making life work and enjoying life's experiences that our fur friends can't be apart of. I am fortunate enough to work from home and serve those in need of fur friend care taker. I have also taken a great deal of interest around training with dogs and have successfully trained my two dogs on the necessary, everyday commands on my own.

Natalie took great care of Squid. She was very patient and made sure her two (giant!) dogs were comfortable with our 20-pound half-chihuahua and vice versa. Would definitely book again!

Exceptional care for our dog. I would highly recommend Natalie. We will definitely use her again. You won’t find anyone better.

An absolute treasure. Natalie was super easy to communicate with and very accommodating of my ever-changing schedule. Her pup was a sweetheart and got along great with my dog. I will definitely use her again.

We, like most of Natalie's clients, used her doggy daycare services to look after our beloved dog, Bailey, while we hiked in Zion. From the start to the end, Natalie was great. From the first time I contacted her (a few weeks in advance), she was a punctual and positive communicator. She was willing to be flexible with our timings and generous with her definition of a day. She obviously loves animals and was very concerned to make Bailey at home. Although she has two dogs of her own (one of whom is very large!), they got along fine with Bailey and Natalie was very sensitive to settling them all in together. She sent us a full update during the day to let us know how Bailey was doing. One thing I would mention (nothing to do with Natalie) is that we were unable to connect to a network whilst in Zion (due to it being in a canyon), so you may find it difficult to communicate with Natalie while you're hiking. I recommend Natalie very highly!

Information Natalie K. would like to know about your pet

The most important thing for me to know up front is the dogs temperament with not only humans, but dogs as well. Knowing the dogs routine is key to me because keeping them on their normal routine will allow them feel at more at ease and comfortable. Any past/current medical conditions as well. And what things you as an owner are and are not comfortable with. Are you comfortable with your dog going to the lake or dog parks? Are you comfortable with your dog being off leash at any point? Are you comfortable with your dog being around other dogs? These questions will help me ensure that I am meeting your dog's individual needs as well as your expectations for any stay with me.

A typical day

I love to be outdoors, especially with my pups! Living in an area where the temperatures are often above 100 degrees in the summer months, I typically only venture outside with the dogs in the early morning between 6am-8am. After about 9am it's too hot for the dogs to be outside for extended amounts of time. So we will likely spend the majority of our time playing indoors or possibly going to the lake if approved by the owner of course! My neighborhood is super dog-friendly and provides a great atmosphere to take dogs on walks. In the fall & winter months when the temperatures have cooled, I love to visit the dog park in Washington to provide the dogs with a place to cool off in the splash area and socialize with other dogs.
