My husband and I volunteer as foster parents with the Cavalier Rescue Group. We have a 15yr old Cavalier named Charlie, a 8 yr old Chihuahua-mix named Oliver, and they have a brand new (human) baby sister to round out our pack. Both of our dogs are super friendly and love to play fetch. Our first foster dog was very high-needs requiring several surgeries and subsequent rehab/physical therapy. Between Charlie and foster dogs, we are well versed in dogs with special needs and senior care. We frequently dog sit for friends and family...all sizes from chihuahuas to Goldens. Walking the dogs and going to dog parks used to be our primarily motivation for getting outside and being more active but as they've aged, they can't go for the runs or long hikes we generally enjoy. So we love having another pup or 2 around to help get us out and moving!! As a self-proclaimed crazy dog mom, I love every pup as my own and will treat yours like on of the family.
