Hello there! My name is Natalie. I recently reopened my Rover account after being on an hiatus for the past few years. We’ve been living in some beautiful but remote parts of the southwest so there wasn’t much need or use for Rover in our lives. We are open to caring for ALL KINDS of fur babies!.. we’ve traveled quite a bit with our pets and know the struggle of finding a safe and dependable sitter! I've had all kinda of animals growing up. Everything from ducks and goats to birds, hamsters, cats & dogs! I was raised with big dogs and now a mama to a sweet little 13 year old dachshund. I treat my dog as well as I'd treat a human! She's always carried up stairs, I keep Benadryl near for her allergies and closely monitor her around big or rough dogs. She’s very friendly but thinks she’s a human.. not a dog.. so she’s much more interested in human affection than playing with other pups. That being said, she gets along best with older or slower pups. Lexi’s best friend is a chihuahua, her sister is a cat, her brother is a traveling hamster and her dad is just as crazy about animals as I am. My professional animal experiences includes volunteering for P.A.W.S., where I assisted in raising abandoned new born kittens. Many times they'd still have umbilical cords and their eyes hadn't yet opened. I also worked as a receptionist at an emergency vet as one of my first jobs. Working with animals is extremely rewarding!
