Hi! My name is Natalie, and I live and work in the West Palm Beach area. I'm in my mid 20s, and I typically work M-F, 9-5 pm. I have been a dog owner and lover my entire life, and have about 12 years of experience as a primary caretaker for the 4-legged members of my family. My family has had German shepherds, pit mixes, border collies, Doberman Pinscher mixes, lab mixes, and various terriers. Because of this, I can handle large, strong dogs and smaller, excitable dogs with ease. I love animals in general, and have been the proud owner of dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, mice, and more. I really miss being around my dogs from home, and just seeing a dog walk by always brings a smile to my face. I have my own car so I can easily take dogs to parks that are too far to walk to, a dog beach, the vet, etc. I am comfortable working with dogs (and cats, as well as other common house pets) of any breed and size. I have a lot of experience with dogs from having them as pets and dog-sitting for friends, family, and past Rover clients. As a pet owner, I have administered oral medication to both dogs and cats. When two of my dogs were elderly and needed round the clock care and assistance, I was always there to carry them, feed them by hand, etc. I stay calm under the pressure of a pet emergency, and I am able to keep a sick pet calm while they receive medical attention. I have gone through extensive obedience training with my own dogs (I helped train two of our dogs, a German Shepherd and a border collie mix), and I am capable of enforcing common household rules regarding pet behavior such as staying off the furniture and discouraging jumping. Overall, I have a lot of experience working with all kinds of animals and especially dogs and cats. I love taking care of animals, and I truly enjoy spending time with our furry friends.
