As a child, I grew up in a house of German Shepherds who shed a ton, had lots of pure-bred medical issues, but nonetheless were my best friends growing up. My father loved our shepherds, and I learned to take on in his place, as a close member and care taker of our little family. Coming to campus as a student and moving in to an apartment was difficult because it meant that I wouldn’t be able to see my pups, or be able to use them as an outlet for comfort and de-stressing. Unfortunately, my shepherds passed recently, leaving me with a hole in my heart and a need for a campus waking pal. I live in a large apartment with 3 animal loving roommates. I have lots of open space and a huge campus to walk around. I often take long walks around Minneapolis, especially since the weather has gotten so much nicer, and I would love a for a furry companion to come join me:)
