I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was 13. When I was younger, I would spend a lot of time with my friend's dogs and I would walk my neighbor's dog for some extra pocket change. I have also done pet sitting for my sister when she is out of town. I've handled emergency situations when a dog encounters a skunk or other wildlife and know how to conduct myself in a calm manner to mitigate the situation to the best of my ability. I've spent a lot of years alongside animals and I don't remember a time in my life when I didn't have some kind of critter in the house.
