Pet care experience
I graduated from the University of Vermont as a double major in environmental and animal science. I have worked with Rover for 4 years now and have had great experiences. Prior to moving home to NY, I worked at an animal hospital in Burlington, Vermont for just under a year. I was a veterinary technician at a small animal veterinary clinic with responsibilities such as administering vaccines and medications, restraining pets during exams, doing patient and client intake, and many other tasks. I'm a very active person and would love a running/walking buddy, no matter the distance. I love to hike and often take dogs that I am watching with me if the owner is comfortable with it. I have a car in New York making transportation easy; it’s an SUV big enough to easily fit a dog. I look forward to meeting you and your furry friends!
Reviews
Natalie was great with our two cats, she was communicative, shared pictures with each visit, and arrived on time. We'll definitely book her again to watch our cats!
Natalie was great! She house sat and cared for our two dogs while we were away. Natalie was pleasant, punctual and professional. She texted and sent pictures of our happy dogs in action. We would absolutely hire and recommend Natalie again in the future. It was nice not to have to worry about them.
Natalie took amazing care of my puppy!! She sent picture updates and took him on adventures and walks! I will absolutely ask her to look after him again!
Natalie was amazing. She sent me photos was wonderful to meet in person. When we arrived taco basically jumped out of my car and ran into her house I couldn’t of felt more confident leaving him with someone. Plus she’s has a whole house of roommates so I know he got tons of extra love.

Safety, trust & environment
I love taking dogs for walks or to the park if the owner is comfortable with them being around other dogs. I also appreciate more relaxed animals that just want to sit on the couch and get pets!
Information Natalie D. would like to know about your pet
I always ask about allergies and medications. In addition, I like knowing if your dog gets along well with other dogs or if they are dog-reactive.
A typical day
I enjoy being up early with the animals and being able to accommodate the feeding schedule they are used to. I like to do a morning walk or throw a ball in the park. If owners are comfortable with it, I have brought Rover dogs on hikes with me, to the farmers market, to apple orchards and many other fun activities! It’s great to get us both outside.
