- Georgia is a 7 year, 9 mo. old PitBull Mix in Chicago, IL
Georgia is super sweet and wants to be ON you pretty much all the time. She is protective and barks at other dogs, sometimes at humans, but has never met a human she didn't like, and eventually makes friends with other animals too. She loves kids and is protective of them AND protective of her animal friends too. We have 2 kittens (full grown now) that Georgia helped raise. They are her babies. Really. She thinks they are her children, and they think she is their mom. We got Georgia from CACC about 2 1/2 years ago, and she was the staff favorite at that time. Now, she is definitely like one of my children. She is very, very loved, and super spoiled. She gets treats. Sometimes from the table, though we try not to go crazy with that. She can sit, shake, lie down, speak, and stay. She knows "off" and "come" and "out" and "outside" and "inside" and "walk" and "let's go" but she is easily distracted when she is outside.

- Breed: PitBull Mix
- Tracking Chip: Yes

- Gets along with children: Yes
LOVES children and is very tolerant of youngsters playing too rough (not that we let her, but our 4 yr old definitely tries to push her limits with Georgia)
- Gets along with other dogs: Yes
she needs slow intros and can be too much for other dogs. She gets very excited, which some dogs see as a threat, and if another dog reacts aggressively to her energy, she will get aggressive. But we have never had any incidents of actual fights or injuries or anything.
- Gets along with cats: Yes
also needs a slow intro, but I think she gets along better with cats than dogs at this point (we have 3 cats)
