As a pet owner, I understand the importance of making the right decision when choosing someone to care for your animals when you're unable to do it yourself. My boyfriend, Danny, and I are the proud owners of one rescued pit/boxer mix and a chocolate lab, as well as a crazy coop full of chickens, bunnies, and a cute little kitten. I have personal experience with different types of animals and understand that they all have different needs. The most important thing that we can offer in your absence, is an abundance of love, snuggles, and attention. With one of us home all day your fur-baby won't have a chance to be lonely or get into trouble. We love being outdoors and love a pup that can withstand a hike or quick jog (I usually tire before they do). Living on a small homestead affords us the ability to host dogs that are great off leash or who need a fenced in yard, any level of training in welcomed. I like to wake up early and do that farm chores with the dogs at my heels and Danny (my side-kick) typically takes the night shift. We do have the ability to keep pups separated during their stay if your fur-baby isn't particularly social, but can also provide great playmates. We are open to caring for all types of animals big and small! The Dorey Dog Park or our home is the best place for Meet and Greets since there's is plenty of space to go for a walk or run around in a safe enclosed environment, as well as have our pups meet yours.
