Natalia was great! She is very welcoming and kind and took excellent care of my dog, Captain. You can tell right away that Natalia loves dogs! Her home was clean and well set up for taking care of dogs. This was a "practice" stay before we leave our dog for an extended stay.
I feel much better now about my trip because I know Natalia will take very good care of my dog.

Life is Better with a Dog

Hi, I’m Natalia. I'm from Río Grande, Puerto Rico. I'm Social Worker and actually Master student of Social Worker at University of Puerto Rico. I'm, also, a mother of two dogs -Naika and Moka-. We treat both of them like members of our family. I have vast experience on dogs, we care, support and treat them as they are, special living species. I think that my best description is Customer Service, we care of ...

What Natalia would like to know about your dog

The first step to giving a quality service is to know your pet. For this, we coordinate a meeting between you, your pet and me so that you will describe the profile of him or her, their tastes, health condition, their routine usually, places of preference and everything important so that he or she is taken care of as deserves. From this information will be made a plan of habits and positive routines.

The following is important to take care of your pet:
- Your pet has the vaccines up to date (presenting evidence).
- Provide the pet's food.
- Provide medication, if applicable.
- Provide any special equipment that the pet may require.

Oral Medication Administration
Can provide daily exercise

When Natalia watches your pet

A plan of habits and positive routines that I use commonly includes:
- Follow specific schedules when making the walks and putting the food or the time to go out to play, will be essential for our dog to show a stable and calm behavior.
- Teach or reinforce canine skills and offer mental stimulation.
- Play time and socialization. Give time to enjoy at least 15 or 30 minutes a day of free fun. This habit is essential to help them release stress and enrich their day to day life in a positive way. That the pets enjoy an active game modality on the outside (ball, freebee, running) and that in the house they can play with the different tethers and stuffed animals.
- Reinforce you positively when you maintain proper behavior.
- Walks adapted to your pace to make your needs, but also to continue to interact with other dogs and people. It is a fundamental part of their daily life and essential for a happy life.

We have ample space in the exterior of the house and the urbanization for the enjoyment of your pet. There are recreational areas nearby, including the beach. In addition, we have a list of park, recreational and other pet friendly attractions in Puerto Rico.
