Hi! I believe that I have all the love and compassion to offer and I'm extremely patient with animals. I have volunteered in veterinary clinics back in my home town and I love to bond with all shapes and sizes of furry four legged friends- not to exclude feathery ones either! I am always offering family and friends to take their dogs out for walks and have also lived at a friends home for a week and taken full responsibility of her husky and mixed breed companions while she and her husband had to travel! I have loved watching their pups whenever they have had travel and have puppy sat them both since they were wittle ! I have family members who also have dogs and I'm always teased by a lot of them saying that I prefer hanging out with the dogs rather than the family itself :)! I like bring in that Pawsitive energy but it's safe to say that my four legged furry friends bring that in me most of the time! I would like to mention that i'm also a nurse- so doing all the poopy chores, grooming cleaning kennels/litter boxes, showers and all that combined that comes with pet care doesn't phase me one bit! I have a unique story to share from my childhood from so many : I remember finding a tiny little egg the size of a coffee bean, in my home one day. I could not for the life of me figure out which species of animal it may belong to. But with some help from my parents and siblings we came to conclude it might belong to a gecko. I felt so bad that it had lost its mama's care so I decided to keep it warm and take care of it myself! I may not have fully understood how to take care of a lizard egg at that young age but boy did I go all out! I made a-little nest out of twigs and branches and feathers from my pillows and fleece lined it and all of that jazz! I also did some homework on how to keep it warm under a light bulb so I even used my study lamp! I would watch it every opportunity I get hoping it would hatch safely and was still safe in its nest! After a while of couple weeks-Guess what ??!the egg did hatch and it was a lizard!!!!! I had never felt so proud of my self! I took the baby lizard to the vets after that because it was getting out of my childhood expertise to care for a little lizard! I hoped it survived but never could really check up on it because the drive to the vet was nowhere near my home. Part of me also did not want to know anything else besides it's prosperity and survival I guess! But voila I took care of a gecko egg! I have always had it in me to want to care for animals! I grew up in a city in a 3rd world country hence we get stray animals here and there that may have wandered into random areas or are stuck in areas they shouldn't be! I personally have rescued countless stray cats and saved lots of pigeons and birds and nursed them in my own home till they are fit enough to go off on there own (birds) and as for cats I have gone above and beyond to find them good homes or have made sure they have a safe place to go to! Long story short! I JUST LOVE ALL ANIMALS, furry ,hairy, feathery, scaley or prickly (I love hedgehogs)! Please allow yourself to trust me as I can assure you your pets will be safe with me and so very loved! I believe that i learn more from animals and our pets than we do from most human beings! They teach us little things that trickle into the big ways of life -it really is beautiful! And all they ask for in return is love, respect and compassion and lots of cuddles (if they'll allow it ;D)
