Pet care experience
I am a lover of all animals, especially dogs. I am home almost full time (work from home), and my schedule is very flexible. I have experience taking care of small to large dogs from a 10 lb miniature Poodle to a 80 lb German Shepherd Dog and dogs of all ages (specializing in puppies!). I have grown up with dogs all my life, and I personally love taking care of dogs and cats as I find that they are immensely gratifying to love. I believe every pet is unique and discovering their individual personalities and how to best care for them is incredibly rewarding. Please note: Overnight rates are per 24 hour period. If your dog stays overnight and pickup time is more than three hours after initial drop off time, an extra charge of either $30 (for an excess of 3-4 hours) or a full day of dog sitting (for an excess of 5-10 hours) will be added to the stay.

Naomi is the ABSOLUTE BEST. I needed to book someone on short notice to watch my two fur babies and from the immediate response, to drop-off, to updates she was amazing. I often get so nervous dropping them off because you always worry if someone won't take as good care of them as you would but there was never a doubt in my mind with Naomi. She took care of them as if they were her own and sent so many updates that put my mind at ease. I will absolutely book her again!
Very lucky to have Naomi take care of our Shiba inu Yuki. Naomi knows how to treat a shy shiba, and even let my dog sits on her bed. She sends me updates and pictures of my dog regularly. I would highly recommend booking with Naomi. I definitely will rebook with her when I'm out of town

I take dogs out every morning the minute they wake up and every 3 hours after for potty breaks! All dogs go to the bathroom right before bed, and I take away water at 8pm to prevent accidents :) I take dogs (depending on activity level) for a 30 - 45 minute walk outside per day (weather permitting). Play time is throughout the day, and I have many interactive toys to tire them out!

Let me know if your dog has any medications he or she needs to take or important allergies. What kind of food, treats, and activities they prefer will be helpful, or if you rather me not give them any treats while with me. (I never feed dogs human food and keep my kitchen counters clean.) I do have a stockpile of treats that are all organic and simple ingredients (sweet potato, Himalayan cheese yak sticks and puffs, freeze-dried chicken, lamb lung, etc). Please also let me know if they have anything they dislike such as children or specific other dogs or loud noises.
A typical day
All dogs are different. Some enjoy Frisbee, some like fetch, some like tug-of-war, some just like to run or chase, some like relaxing walks, and some love cuddling and being petted. Just let me know what kinds of activities your dog likes! I also love taking my dogs to the beach or lake-front, so if approved, I may take them for a field trip to Alki Beach or Green Lake Park. No matter what, I guarantee your dog will not be just lying around in my house (unless that is what they love in which case I'll lie with them!). I also love being interactive with dogs, so if there are any tricks you are trying to teach them, I can reinforce them while they are with me! *I do not take dogs to dog parks. This is for the safety of your dog. That being said, I do take my regular pups to the dog park once in a while as I have built trust and understanding of their dog language and comfort zone. If you do want me to take your dog to the park, they must stay with me for at least 4 days before I can take them to the dog park (so I may bond with them), and a waiver will be provided to sign.

I will be home almost full time (with occasional errands throughout the week). However, with two roommates who work from home who are also dog lovers, your dog will never be left alone!
