*IMPORTANT, want to make sure no one misses:* Please note I have a hybrid day job - I'm remote Tues & Fri only & not available for lunchtime walks Mon, Wed, & Thurs (I can do a short lunch walk those days if you live directly in the Queensboro Plaza area). For home sitting, the earliest I can start on the first day is *7am* and the latest I can leave on the last day is *9pm.* Otherwise, hello, I'm Naomi! I offer in-home dog sitting. In-home sitting means I stay in your home - unfortunately, I can't board. I have been working with dogs & cats for 10+ years & grew up with many well-loved rescues. For home sitting, dogs in my care typically receive three 30 minute walks and one 15 minute walk daily. I'm flexible about modifying the walking schedule if your pup has a slightly different routine. All sittings include feedings, administration of any needed medication, plant watering, mail/package pick-up, and unlimited belly rubs/ear scratches. Daily photos and updates are always provided, and I'm easily accessible throughout the day.

Naomi came and stayed at my apartment with my dog and she took very good care of her for 5 days/4 nights! I felt like Naomi genuinely cared about how my dog was doing. She was very communicative and was a lovely houseguest- left the place tidy etc. I’d definitely recommend her!

I will ask you to go over your pet's general routine and any behavioral or medical issues when we meet. Pets thrive on routines and I stick to them as closely as possible. Even though I have a lot of experience with pet care, if a dog has serious behavioral issues (for example, biting humans, including any biting attempts, or severe anxiety), I ask that owners work with a trainer or similar professional instead of using my services to ensure that your dog receives the appropriate level of care. I also only offer basic medication administration.
A typical day
Pets thrive on routines, so I try to stick to owners' routines as closely as possible. I'm athletic and enjoy long walks in the park, but I also love working with smaller dogs and older dogs who need a more mellow pace.

Schedule-wise, I have flexible availability, and I always alert pet owners in advance of any outside commitments I have to avoid pet separation anxiety issues.
