In 2005 my mother passed away and, due to my emotional state, I found it difficult ro hold a regular job. My aunt worked at vet clinic and thought is would be a good idea to work with the animals that were being boarded there. And she was right. It was a job that afforded me the solitude needed to deal with those emotions and was therapeutic. Every animal, whether they were there because the families were out of town or they had to stay for recovery after a procedure, became apart of my healing as I administered medication, cleaned their kennel, or spent time with them on walks. I have cared every type of animal (except tarantulas) since then. Pets do so much first us....even when they are someone else's pet. My goal is to give pet parents the peace of mind that the person they have caring for their pet will provide a level of care that is as personal to the caregiver as it is to the pet parent.
