My family and I used to dog sit in our home through Rover and met many wonderful doggies and their owners but had to give it up when we moved to a house without a fully fenced in yard. My loss is your gain because now I can just come to your house and walk your dog, play with them, scratch their furry faces...whatever they need! I know from past experience the guilt that comes with having to leave your dog alone for hours on end while at work. I also know what it is like to have a pet that would prefer to stay at home, thank you very much, when I've gone on vacation. I am just the person to come into your house and take care of your pet's needs. I love taking dogs for walks and look at it as an opportunity to provide good leash skills and to get our sillies out. My past experience as a dog owner and sitter have shown me that dogs who get exercise every day are happier, healthier, and more emotionally stable. When my own dog got too old to go on long walks we would still get out and meander just to sniff the fresh air. Is a trip to the dog park more like it? I have scoped out many of the area's dog parks and know which ones are suited to different dogs. They are not all created equal for sure. I look at this work as an opportunity to serve my community and have fun in the process. I look forward to meeting you and your pet!
