Pet care experience
I’ve had my dog for 13 years now, and have volunteered at an animal shelter before so I have plenty of experience with animals and their needs. I am very active and enjoy long walks/runs, especially when I have a dog to join me as my dog is rather old now and cannot go the distance like he used too. I am a student on summer break so I have plenty of free time and a large car that can accommodate a dog If driving is involved. I am particularly passionate about big dogs but I love all sizes equally. For house sitting the priority will always be the animals and I will follow the home owners wishes to the T. I am looking to work with animals after my degree so this is not only a hobby but also in my view experience and I will approach each animal with the same level of energy and care needed.

For our first experience with Rover and house sitting we were hugely impressed by the ease of things. Naomi was a great pick for us and a real comfort whilst we were away. We have learnt so much for our future bookings and how to help sitters be prepared to take on our pooches and house. We came back to very happy dogs and that’s the main thing!

A typical day
To wake myself up I usually take me dog on a short stroll or sit in the garden with a cup of tea to get my dog outside in the mornings. I live in mellor so there is many places available for lovely walks as I’m not a fan of walking dogs on the street (but I will accommodate if necessary). I love playing with dogs especially young ones as they are usually very goofy. I also love cuddling up with my dog after a long walk which usually calms him down for the rest of the night.
