Pet care experience
I have a deep love of animals and enjoy having them in my life every day. I have spent many years volunteering in shelters and helping foster animals in need. I care for my own as family and you should know yours will be cared for the same way. I live in a 2 bedroom luxury apartment with good space for dogs to prance around, a dog park close to home (I respect owners who prefer their dogs not attend dog parks) and I enjoy quality time with every pet I care for, from diets to belly rubs to snuggling and healthy exercise. You can rest assured, your family member will be loved immensely and treated with respect. Honesty is the best policy, ALWAYS. If your pet has special needs, requires longer or shorter walks, has eating preferences, is a picky eater, requires medicine, etc., I will need to know so I can care for your pet in the same way that you do. If typically your dog does not get much exercise and you would like to incorporate this more into your pets life, I am happy to help!
A typical day
Typically and weather permitting, I prefer to take dogs to Bryan Park in Greenwich for long walks and lots of exercise. I also use the Stamford high school fenced in baseball field to allow them to run around and play. I work based on your pets needs and dog owners preference. Some do not enjoy or are unable to go for long walks due to health concerns or age. For those pets, I usually take them out for their potty break and then hop in my SUV for a car ride and some fresh air. If there is an activity your dog enjoys, feel free to let me know so I can work it into the schedule!
