Thank you to all my Rover customers in Minnesota. Shortly we will be moving to a warmer climate. I will be moving my business with me and hope to find clients as wonderful as the ones I have here. I hope you find the same in a sitter. Love Nancy I am a stay at home housewife. I have experience with all size dogs and would be willing to take care of them in my home or yours. We have a fenced in yard and large patio. We live in a dog friendly neighborhood with our 3 pekingese and a black and tan coon hound mix all rescues. Before moving to Minnesota I ran a boarding kennel with my sister in Arkansas.I am experienced in giving medications including insulin shots. About this sitter: I would be happy to come to your home and take care of your pets. I have experience with dogs , cats and some other pets also. I will get your mail, water plants and what ever else may need done. Some animals just do better at home. I have experience giving medications including insulin shots. I will be happy to work around your schedule so your pets feel comfortable. Afternoon potty breaks are also available. I work with a local rescue organization as a foster parent. I also have done extensive training with my personal dogs including CGC training. Why I love dog sitting As a child I never had a dog, but my neighbor did. Her name was "Missy". I walked her and took care of her when they went away. I guess that was the start of my pet sitting days. I was about 12. My Grandfather started a rescue before I was born so I guess it comes naturally. I got my first dog when I was in my 20's. She was a collie mix named Brandy. I haven't been without one or two or three or... since.

This was our dog, Fritz', second stay at Nancy's. She is so great and Fritz loves to go over there. She treats him as one of her own and has been so willing to help us. We had to go out of town on short notice for a funeral and Nancy was so kind. We highly recommend Nancy!
Esther was treated like family, and I could tell enjoyed her stay very much by the daily pictures! Nancy is an excellent dog sitter that I would recommend to anyone wanting the best care for their furry four-legged 'child'! Thank you, thank you, Nancy!
Nancy is a dog lover! At home, my dog sleeps in his bed on top of my bed and Nancy accomodated that whole heartedely, which makes Preston feel right at home. Nancy has had my dog overnight several times and I feel confident he is loved and well cared for.
Nancy was great! She took very good care of Marley and sent pictures and updates while he was in her care. He had a great time! We will definitely use her again!

I would like to know something about his or her background, puppy mill, rescue,fears, health issues, general information so I can take proper care of the dog without putting unnecessary stress on the dog. I personally have owned Dobermans and Rottweilers. Right now we have a Black and Tan Coon hound mix and 4 Pekingese.
A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks We have a park very close to our home. Also we live in a dog friendly neighborhood. Your dog's sleeping arrangement Your dog will sleep in our room. If your dog is crate trained they will sleep in their crate. If not we will make other arrangements. Time I'll spend with your dog I am home all day. I spend as much time as your dog requires. In other words if your dog wants to play we play if your dog just want to chill then that is what we do. It all depends on the dog. Time I'll spend with your dog Each trip that you request I will plan to spend at least 30 minutes with your dog. Now that I have been doing this for a while I am finding that realistically I am really with your pet between 45 minutes and and hour. If you are away overnight I would normally make 3 trips of 30 minutes each. Extra house-sitting services Yes, I will water plants, bring in the mail, any reasonable requests.
