Veterinary technician 27 years. I previously owned my own grooming shop/boarding kennel with 600 clients. Experience with most breeds. I previously worked with University of Tennessee in their Human Animal Bond in Tennessee program as a canine evaluator for potential therapy dog/handler teams. Priveledged to work with a fabulous therapy dog, a Great Pyrenees mix, in a reading program for 4 year old students. Conducted research on canine/human interactions during my undergraduate studies at East Tennessee State University. Certified Kennel Technician through the American Boarding Kennel Association in 1988. Experience in all ages of dogs, including house training puppies, obedience training for all ages, and special care required for senior pets, such as medications and injections. Dogs have taught me much of what I know about life!
