-willing to care for rambunctious dogs and difficult cats -able to train dogs in basic commands (sit, beg, down) -can potty-train puppies -able to give oral medication to dogs -experience with "barn cats"/rescue cats I've been responsible for pets my entire life and I've had the pleasure of raising two gracious chihuahuas that I've since outlived and I currently have a lovely cat who was previously deemed feral. I adore cats and dogs equally and I have experience cat & dog sitting for friends. I consider myself an outgoing person with a calm demeanor, perfect for comforting anxious pets and training particularly energetic dogs. You'll find me easy to reach and easy to talk to.

Nancy is a wonderful cat sitter! I'm always nervous to leave my cats for days, but all my fears were alleviated from the very first day. Nancy sent me daily updates and plenty of photos. It was clear from the photos that my cats were happy and comfortable, and enjoying Nancy's company. My cats are a mixed bag of personalities, but even the shy ones came out when Nancy was visiting. Nancy is a genuine animal lover! I’ve known her for sometime and the care she puts into her own pets and the love she shares for others’ pets is unmatched by anybody. She is consistent when it comes to care and affection and always ensures that any animal in her care is well taken care of! She grew up with dogs of her own and always showed them lots of love and took great care of them.

For walks, I always carry baggies for waste, a fresh bottle of water, treats, and a tweezer just in case of paw splinters (we get a lot of spiky weeds here in Reno). I'm a very cautious person and I like to make sure I'm prepared for anything.

Please let me know how energetic your four-legged friend is and whether there are any marked personality traits (i.e. shy, aggressive, friendly) that I should be aware of. If your dog requires medicine, let me know ahead of time. If you have a particularly aggressive cat, let me know so I can wear a longsleeve. I love all dogs and cats, but I have a marked soft-spot for chihuahuas, pit-bulls, and tabby cats.

Availability
I'm a college student using this as an opportunity to meet cats and dogs while setting aside funds for next semester. I'm currently on winter break, so I'm available from 11am-8pm every day until mid January. Plenty of time for loving on your pets!
