I have owned dogs my entire life. My family used to breed AKC registered Cocker Spaniels & Labrador Retrievers. I have a lot of new puppy experience! Most recently, I have owned two Shih Tzu/Bichon mixes. Unfortunately, I lost them both this year. My Sassy was a spunky active female weighing in at 11 lbs (she got Cancer) and my Cubby was the sweetest dog I have ever known. He was quite old at 16 1/2 when he passed and had some elder issues. So I am well versed in many areas of care - from dogs in heat, pregnant mommas, new litters, to administering meds, to bathing, brushing, exercise, and elder care. I miss my dogs very much. I thought maybe I could share my love with your pets when you need to be elsewhere. I also have experience with cats and bunny rabbits. My husband and I are empty nesters. My main job is as a Flight Attendant for JetBlue, but I am on a voluntary leave until July 1, 2021. As a flight crew member, I have passed an FBI level background check, and am drug free. My husband is a UPS driver. So he is also compliant with all DOT regulations. Because I am out of work right now, my schedule is open and flexible. Our home is a single story with small dog doors to fenced in areas. I have a reliable vehicle and can transport your pets if need be. And because we have so recently lost our pets, we can board your babies if you like, without exposure to other animals. I also exercise regularly and walk about 15 miles per week. So if your pet likes to go on walks, they can get some good exercise!
