Pet care experience
Grew up with dogs, raised many from puppies, believe in a gentle correction style & communicate well with dogs. I'm consistent & firm , I've handled many large breeds, pits & smaller dogs...Love them all! Ive hosted other's pets at my home, am an avid walker & enjoy exercise with dogs. Exterior kennel also available at my home. I currently work part time only & am very flexible to attend to animals' needs. Home located on 3.5 acres between Ada & Lowell. Require crates for dogs under 1 year, or if you normally crate your pet. If I must leave, I would either crate your pet or keep him in my well lit & ventilated garage with food & water, toys & bedding. With older or repeat guest dogs, they have the run of the house. I have on occasion had 2 pets from different families that overlap bookings & have had no issue with them getting along. Naturally, it's at my discretion & would not blend animals who may be fearful, aggressive or timid. I get to know my guests pretty well, and they all have been really great guests. Nancy was wonderful! We have a wildly energetic puppy that she handled with ease. She knew I was nervous with leaving him behind, and really helped me stay sane by sending photo updates along with little blurbs on what they’re doing and how things were going. Crosby came home sleepy and happy, which is always the goal. We will absolutely use her again in the future.
Nancy took great care of our dog, Abby! She is very friendly and professional. We appreciated that she took Abby for a walk during her overnight stay! We would recommend her to anyone in need of dog walking or boarding!
wow, I am delighted with Nancy's caring for my little four legged kids! She was great, our dogs, one young, one old, were very happy when we returned and I could tell they had been happy while we were gone. Nancy communicated with us whenever we reached out and also sent photos spontaneously. She was actively involved with our pups and our communication was excellent before and during her stay.
Nancy was awesome! Our dog Captain had a really fun stay with her and she was very flexible with letting him stay late when something came up unexpectedly. I would definitely have her watch our little fur baby again :)

I'm located between 2 excellent dog parks, one in the woods on trails the other along the river with large soccer fields. Both require dogs on leash, so there is no risk for your pets. I generally walk an hour in the mornings, then shorter ones later in the day. Your dog will love all the country life that pass through my property, including deer, rabbits, possum, raccoon, fox, squirrels, birds galore!
