Pet care experience
Puppy Play Dates! Meet Jack, my adorable Havanese puppy. Just like children, regular socialization, supervision and early learning are essential for young dogs. Pups that are allowed to regularly play freely with other dogs tend to be happier, easier to train and less destructive at home. With guidance, they learn turn-taking and become secure adults. For small breeds and puppies, finding suitable playmates in a safe environment can be challenging. That's why I'm excited to offer half and full day puppy play dates in our fully enclosed and puppy-proofed front yard, and inside, in our air-conditioned home. My house is equipped with size and age-appropriate play equipment, including a splash pad in the yard for hot summer days. I am also able to offer bathing and sanitary trims so your sweetheart looks and feels their best! Please call or text to schedule your pup's visit and check out atpattyspuppyplayyard. Hi, I'm Nancy and I'd love to take care of your puppy pal. I offer short-term air-conditioned daycare for when you need to run errands or visit the Okanagan, and overnight boarding for current clients. Your pup will receive lots of love and attention while you're gone. They'll enjoy unlimited belly rubs, "atta boys," and playful noogies. They'll also socialize with Jack and Hazel. I'll provide regular updates, photos, and videos so you can feel confident that your furry friend is enjoying their playdate. Previous guests have left relaxed and happy, with parents reporting calm behavior and confidence at home. Unlike kennels or big franchises, your dog will receive individual attention, free roaming, and sleep in a comfortable environment. Playtime is tailored to their preferences, whether it's fetch, tug of war, cuddling on the couch, or exploring the surroundings with Jack. Your pup will be engaged in age-appropriate activities, always supervised for safety and manners. I understand that being away from home can be stressful for pets. That's why I ensure a smooth transition during overnight visits, allowing your dog to have a joyful holiday and a happy reunion with you. With my experience, maturity, and background, I provide more than just common sense: I am certified in dog first aid for extra peace of mind. Daycare rates are for an 8-hour period, either from 8 am to 4 pm or 9 am to 5 pm or customized to your needs. Additional hours or early drop-off/late pickup may incur extra fees. For new clients requiring overnight boarding, I may ask for a daycare visit prior to your trip to acquaint the dogs and familiarize them with my home. This visit also helps me gather information about your dog's needs and routine. Please note that we don't tour my living area during this visit. My location in Lower Mission/South Pandosy features a fully fenced yard for safety and security. Please make sure their collar has tags attached. I may ask you to fill out a care form. Adults must be neutered or spayed and have up-to-date vaccinations (within 2 years). I can accommodate dogs with special needs or puppies, with an additional surcharge. Let me know when you leave your house so I can be prepared for your arrival. I'm excited to meet you and your adorable pup soon!
Reviews
My puppy had a good time with Nancy and Jack.
My boyfriend and I were visiting Kelowna and needed a sitter for the day for our puppy Millie. Nancy has a great outdoor play area for the pups and Millie looked so happy in the videos she sent us while playing with her puppy, Jack. Nancy was very responsive and sent us regular updates. She was awesome to work with. We will be using her again for future visits to the area.

I am on the premises to supervise all activities to ensure your pal is engaged and safe. I will ask you what your pup’s normal routine is. Indoor and outdoor activities can include fetch, chase, supervised toys-chewing, and basic good-manners training (sit, stay, lie down). I can incorporate crate training, or your other customized requirements into a care plan.

Information Nancy M. would like to know about your pet
I need to know your dog’s routine including all their meal-time preparation. Matching it closely will help settle your dog so they eat - and more importantly - stay hydrated. Smaller, older dogs can become dehydrated easily, leading to complications, so establishing their schedule is most important. A short prep “stay” in advance of your trip may be necessary if your dog experiences anxiety, in order to prepare them for a longer stay.
A typical day
Depending on what your puppy pal is accustomed to, taking into consideration age, breed, temperament and special needs, we take 4 potty breaks throughout the day. Pee pads are provided if necessary. In the early morning and after-meal break, we have an extended “sniffy walk” to catch up on the “news” and encourage elimination. Indoors, I provide stimulation with safe games and toys and cuddling, with lots of rest in between.
