When in the Pacific Northwest, we live on 1/2 acre bordered by 2 acres on a private road. We are just 1/4 mile walk to St Eds park for miles of trails and access to Lake Washington. We have a large house with a large deck and yard, and a well trained therapy dog always looking for a playdate. When in East coast, we live on 2 acres on Saratoga Lake with no a private road without public access - so no traffic and unlimited lake fun for your pup. About this sitter: I am a lifetime dog owner with medical training. I would love to visit, drop in or stay in with your dog while you are away. I work mostly from home and do computer research and writing which leaves plenty of flexibility for your pooch. We have never been without a dog or three. We know dogs and we love them all. There is nothing like a little slobber and mud from a happy dog. I can visit your dog multiple times daily for feedings, walks and playtime, or can stay overnight. Why I love dog sitting My husband and I grew up with dogs. Walker hounds, labs, goldens. Since married, we have adopted greyhounds and mutts throughout the years. We love big well behaved dogs. We have always had at least two dogs until recently when we lost our lab mix to age. Since our son developed allergies, we sought out a goldendoodle and have been thrilled with our dog. We'd have 3 of them if we could. ( update : we now have 3 of them ;-) ). Our dogs have always been a part of our family. They vacation, walk and run errands, cuddle and sleep with us if they choose. My experience administering medication Yes - for a small fee I usually have three teenage sons at home who are also dog lovers that love throwing the ball and playing with dogs, walking with dogs and just hanging out.
