Pet care experience
I am a life-long dog and cat lover! Over the years I've had many dogs and cats, but most recently I had two special dogs--a German Shepherd named Jamie and a Shiba Inu named Journey--who both passed away in the past few years. A year ago I adopted a cat named Toots, and she's my special girl. After decades in the workforce I am changing careers and am starting Graduate School, and I want to use my love of animals to care for yours in your home for you. I am a mature, middle-aged adult with many years of pet care under my belt.

I cannot say enough great things about Nancy's care of our dog, Buggs. She loved him like her own with lots of long walks, trip to the dog park, quality time together and lots of cuddles. We have found our forever dog sitter!! She is AWESOME!!!
Nancy did great with our foster dog, Freckles, while we were out of town for 4 days. Freckles took to her right away. She also made sure to coordinate our schedules so that Freckles didn't spend too long alone after we left and before we got home.
Nancy stayed at our home with our two dogs for a week while we went on vacation. She sent us lots of photos and updates and we didn't worry about a thing. Nancy was very respectful and caring and have lots of love in our absence. We'll most certainly be requesting Nancy whenever we need help again.
Nancy stayed in our hoe for a month while we went to Florida. We absolutely loved the care she gave him!! She sent a text and picture almost daily and it was evident that she cared for and loved him! We will call Nancy again anytime it is necessary to leave our precious pup at home. Nancy did a fabulous job of caring for and loving our pup! She took all of our anxiety away and we relaxed and enjoyed our time in Florida because of her!! Marlene & Bruce

A typical day
I am very good with animals and have my own style of care for my own pets, but I will adopt your style of care when I am sitting your dogs. I believe that dogs love their routines, so it's important to me to help maintain that while you're away. I believe in letting dogs outside often and believe daily walks are important for their mental health, especially while you're away (as long as they don't have physical limitations keeping them from walking). I am skilled at giving them medications if necessary, either pills, shots or both. I will follow your schedule and your guidelines. I want your dogs to be happy while you're away.
