I would treat your dog as part of my family. I have a very friendly Golden Retriever, 4 years old. I have a doggie door for outside access whenever he needs it. I have always loved animals, but I'm especially partial to dogs. Why I love dog sitting I have been a dog lover most of my life. My first canine pet was when I was ten years old. I named her Lucky. She was a collie/German shepard mix. We were inseparable. I was the one in the family that took care of her, walking her, feeding her, etc. She would run along with me when I rode my bike. When I went through a difficult time in Junior High, she was my companion, my support system. That's when I developed my love of dogs. About my yard Large, fenced backyard with a pool and grassy area for plenty of play space

I have a fully enclosed backyard and I keep my gate locked. I am able to close off the kitchen area so that I can feed the dogs separately

I don't have any particular preferences. I prefer not to take on a dog that tends to be aggressive because I would need them to get along with my dog. I would need to know if your pet has any special medical needs. They do need to be spayed or neutered. It helps to know their habits, likes and dislikes.
A typical day
Your dog's sleeping arrangement My dog sleeps in the house. Your dog is welcome to sleep in the house too, unless you prefer that they do not. Time I'll spend with your dog I am retired now so I can spend a lot of time with your pet. I would mostly be leaving the house to do short errands.
