Pet care experience
I am an active senior and I have been caring for dogs....my own and others for over 10 years. I am able to spend quality time walking your dog, spending time with your pet, giving them the attention, exercise and companionship they need while you are away. I am reliable and trustworthy and I have references. I love the energy of all animals! I am aware that dogs, especially, need boundaries - I always keep dogs on leash, I pick up poop and dispose properly and I am mindful when approaching other dogs on leash. I am familiar with just about any domestic household pet and some barnyard critters as well! I have raised dogs, cats, chickens, turkeys, rabbits and guinea pigs. I love animals! I would also like to add, new, that I am the happy owner of a senior rescue dog named Foxy....Foxy is small about 25lbs, very friendly and very adaptable in any situation. She will be accompanying me on all of my pet sitting opportunities. I am semi retired and have moved into a new State and area. Aside from volunteer work at the moment, I am free to care for your pet and home....along with my Foxy! I always keep my dogs on leash when we are outside of our property. If I have clients dogs, I keep them on leash within the property bounds as well. They have free run of my home and are welcome to snuggle with me anytime!
