Our Beagle boy loves to stay at Nancy's house. She gives him lots of love whether he is there for 1 day or a few weeks.

I couldn't thank Nancy enough for taking great care of Lucky for this and many previous stays. Lucky is old and frail but Nancy is patient and resourceful. The setup of her house is perfect for dogs like Lucky - carpet for easy walking around, plenty of comfortable doggie beds to choose from including Lucky's favorite hideout under the corner table, and kitchen door opening to the lush fenced backyard. Lucky has known Nancy for about ...

They're not pets, they're family!

For most of us, we consider dogs a part of the family, and I'm particularly partial to our SENIOR family members. When we have to travel without them, there's nothing worse than worrying about how they're doing and if they're comfortable. Let your dog stay with me and he or she can take advantage of

• a large fenced-in yard with doggie-door access
• a dog-friendly, single level, quiet home
• delicious homemade dog treats
• and, of course ...

What Nancy would like to know about your dog

For me, the most important aspect of a dog visitor's personality is to make sure they are dog-friendly and not aggressive. I have no breed preference, but right now we are more suited to older and/or sedate dogs. We live in a very quiet, calm home since Brewster is now at the geriatric stage in life. And, like Brewster, I no longer have the strength to handle a strong energetic dog. Doing a meet and greet is the best way to see if we're a good fit for each other.
